Life Update

I wrote this as an update on my personal FaceBook page. I wanted to share it with you all as we move into the last half of 2020. We really need to reflect and analyze everything we're doing, done, and about to do. Stay floating. Stay hydrated. Stay you.

I'm learning new hobbies. I've been teaching myself how to do new types of art and pushing myself to fall in love with the process of learning new things. I found out I love working out. I used to be a size 38+ and now 34s barely even fit. I learned to fly drones, how to do digital artwork, how to shoot more emotional photography and film, how to color grade broken film (a paid project turned wrong), and I even worked on a major set for a music video at the end of 2019.
I've learned to love better, deeper, and stronger than I ever have before. I got wrapped up in a woman and found myself learning the ins and outs of how my mind, body, and soul connects with my loved ones. Another heartbreak and the loss of love has proven that no matter how difficult the hurt is, no matter how immensely the feelings have been felt, that love is always and will always be the answer to everything around us. It doesn't matter how hard the harsh words clash against our egos and pull us from our elements, love is the answer. Love will always be the answer.
I'm learning that approach is crucial to defining the effect and outcome of every cause that we create in our day to day lives. Since we live in a realm founded on the law of cause and effect it's safe to assume that our approach to any kind of cause in our life is directly linked to the effect. If we go into a situation in our life, mind, spirit, health, environment, etc. with a shitty approach the effect will then be shitty. Our minds are strong. They're incredibly powerful. I've learned that our minds can interact and alter the states of rooms we're in — this means we can alter any cause and effect that happens from us and around us. Therefore, our minds can change the world.
I've been listening to a different album/project from an artist I've never heard of every single day. I can feel my mind expanding to the wisdom of sounds from so many talented people across the world. We're incredibly blessed to be able to live in a moment where frequencies and vibrations of people are easily accessible, but yet we're plagued by the same frequencies from the same people and wonder why our noise isn't getting any louder. I've learned that everything we want. Every desire that we long for, whether it's material or not is tied to a frequency. I've learned that we can tap these frequencies within ourselves and attract whatever else is attached to these frequencies. I've learned that the frequency of music correlates to the emotional and mental state that it leaves us in when listening. I've learned that the word universe, broken down into two words means "one song" (uni=one, verse=song) and if we're out here spinning around in one song, all playing our part to make sure the symphony is heard across the galaxy, we'd be ignorant to think these frequencies don't change our lives.
I've learned that no matter what. No matter the job you're working. The transportation you're using. The technology you own. The clothes you wear. The music you listen to. The bullshit you're dealing with. You're here for a purpose. There's a specific reason you're here on this planet at this time. We're all here to do something important and play a major note in this song that we're currently creating. Since learning that everyone is here for a specific part, I see the people of the streets differently. I see the world differently.
I'm learning every day. I hope you are too. I'm praying that the souls that have influenced mine in some way have found pleasure in pain because growing is never pain-free.
I love you all.
